FAQ
What is the Rainbow 6 Collegiate Championship?
The Rainbow 6 Collegiate Championship is Ubisoft's official collegiate league for Rainbow 6! College teams can sign up (FREE) to compete in the Fall 2020 pre-season and the Spring 2021 Championship for a shot at $30,000 in prize money and the title of Rainbow 6 Collegiate Champion. Sign up TODAY to get involved.
How do I sign up?
First, you'll have to register an account on FACEIT. Then, add Rainbow 6 to your profile and create a team. Once your team is created, invite your teammates (they will also need to register accounts on FACEIT and add Rainbow 6 to their profiles). Navigate to the official Pre-Season page, and click "JOIN TOURNAMENT". There each of your players will have to verify their university email addresses, and then you'll be entered into the tournament.
Who can participate?
The Rainbow 6 Collegiate Championship is open to all students from colleges and universities in North America (US and Canada). You need to be a full time student in good academic standing with your university. Any type of student (undergraduate, graduate, etc) can participate, as long as you fulfill the education requirements outlined in the rules. For full eligibility requirements, check out the rules.
When does the league start?
The Pre-season will begin in October 2020, and the official season starts in January 2021! You'll have ample time to find and recruit players, practice up in the pre-season, all to get ready for the main event next Spring. The full schedule can be found on the rules page.
What about intramurals, viewing parties, etc?
We want to help support the growth of Rainbow 6 on your campus (or digitally during COVID-19!), and will offer prizing and other cool support packages for schools and esports clubs that want to host Rainbow 6 events on campus. Whether it’s an intramural league, viewing party, or other fun event idea, we want to hear about it, and we want to support it. You can find more information about the community program here.
